Rubik took 2 months, himself, with no sheet of paper to help, just to write down the formulas, to solve the cube. AMAZING, isn't it? the Rubik's Cube is a mind boggling, brain teasing puzzle. Considered one of the most puzzling puzzles in history, man decided to continue the history of Rubik, making him dead famous.
So in other words, after Rubik's invented the 3 x 3 rubik's cube, others went further to create the 2 x 2, 4x4 and 5x5. in computers they went from 2x2 to 1000x1000.
